Needless to say, Godzilla vs Megalon (1973/76) was not quite to the level of De Laurentis' remake (I'm not certain if that's bad or good), but at 11 years old who could resist seeing this pugnacious kaiju along with rainbow robot Jet Jaguar taking on Megalon and Gigan on the big screen? Plus I had to figure out what films all the poorly matched special effects stock footage was from. This spectacular art of Godzilla and Megalon atop the World Trade Centers was plastered in every major newspaper in the US, and certainly makes for a wonderful movie poster even if the monsters don't actually make it into any city much less New York.
